Omega-richbreakfast smoothieIngredients2 tsp chia seeds1 cup plain yoghurt½ cup coconut water
2 tsp flax seeds, ground1 tbsp coconut oil¾ cup fresh or frozen berries1 tsp organic green powder (available from Brookdale and health food suppliers)
Place all ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth.
VariationsSubstitute berries:½ cup papaya, cubed or 1 small banana, sliced.
Papaya boatFilled with yoghurt, honey and almondsIngredients1 papaya1 cup plain yoghurt2 tsp raw honey, divided2 tbsp raw almonds, toasted Dusting of cinnamon (optional)
Cut a papaya in half, peel and remove seeds.Fill each half with ½ cup of plain yoghurt, I tbsp almonds,I tsp honey and a dusting of cinnamon.
